CurioRound

Last updated October 20, 2026. This policy covers CurioRound 2.0, the redesigned Facts app from NextEleven LLC, on iPhone and iPad. This page describes the prepared update; publication of this page does not mean the update has been released.

Your quiz library stays on your device

Daily scores, saved answers, selected age range and pack progress are stored locally. Widget preferences are shared only with this app’s widget through its Apple App Group. CurioRound has no NextEleven account or library-upload server. The question packs are included in the app. This version has no AI generation or user API-key feature and does not send questions or answers to an AI provider.

This version is intended for adults 18 and over. Its age screen stores an age range, not a birth date. An under-18 selection does not enable an ad-free version: it stops entry to this version without starting advertising or checkout.

Advertising and your choices

The free version offers full-screen ads at completed-round breaks, with a cooldown between ads. Google AdMob supplies ads. Google’s User Messaging Platform manages applicable regional privacy messages and lets you reopen required choices through Ad privacy choices in Packs, including after purchasing Remove Ads.

CurioRound requests non-personalized ads, disables Google’s publisher first-party ID and does not ask for Apple’s cross-app tracking permission. These settings do not make advertising anonymous or eliminate all SDK data processing. Google documents that its ads SDK may process IP addresses (which can indicate an approximate location), device or developer-bounded identifiers, ad views/interactions, other app interactions, crash information and performance diagnostics for advertising, analytics, reliability and fraud prevention. The app requests no GPS permission and supplies no quiz library or age birth date to Google. See Google’s iOS SDK disclosure, Google’s privacy policy and the partners identified in the consent form.

An unavailable ad or a privacy-form failure does not block a quiz result. The permanent Remove Ads purchase stops automatic ad requests and display after access is verified; it does not delete data Google previously processed. Purchasing a question pack is separate from removing ads.

Apple purchases

Apple processes purchases under its own policies; CurioRound receives no card details. StoreKit supplies product prices and verified purchase information such as product/transaction identifiers, environment and revocation status to recognize permanent access, finish transactions and restore purchases. Previously verified StoreKit entitlements support offline access. NextEleven operates no purchase-validation server.

After Dark and Remove Ads are separate permanent purchases, with no subscription. Restore uses the Apple Account that made the purchase and can require Apple sign-in. A verified purchase of the earlier paid Facts app qualifies for continued ad-free access under the update’s prior-customer rules; contact support if Restore does not recognize it.

Storage, backups and deletion

There is no in-app cloud-sync service. Local app preferences and data may be included in Apple device backups according to your system settings; transfer or recovery is not guaranteed. Deleting the app can remove local scores, progress, saved answers and preferences. Uninstalling does not delete Apple’s account/payment records or cancel a permanent purchase. Genuine purchases can be restored using the appropriate Apple Account. There is no NextEleven online quiz account to delete.
