PRIVACY POLICY

ThriftFlip 3

Effective for the version 3 offline redesign · Updated October 19, 2026. Earlier versions may have different data practices associated with their online features.

Local workspace

Inventory names, purchase costs, dates, storage locations, notes, selected photos, sale records, refunds, corrections and recorded calculations are stored in the app’s private on-device storage. Version 3 does not send this workspace to NextEleven or an AI provider. It includes no advertising or analytics SDK, app account, AI key entry or in-app checkout.

Photos

The system photo picker gives the app only the image files you choose. ThriftFlip preserves selected originals and creates smaller previews for display. Original photos can contain location or other metadata. Choose private destinations when exporting backups. The app does not request GPS access or upload these photos.

Older libraries

When an older ThriftFlip database is found, the app retains the original files and creates a separate protected copy for inspection. Supported older data can be browsed locally; checked inventory and sales can enter the new workspace only after confirmation. Scans, saved offers, watch lists, sourcing lists and saved social records are retained separately and are not treated as purchases. External photo links remain inert. Unfamiliar, damaged or oversized data can remain unavailable for automatic import without being overwritten. Original database exports and new workspace backups are separate.

Exports, device backups and retention

You decide whether and where to export files through Apple’s document controls. A chosen cloud provider receives the exported data under its own privacy practices. ThriftFlip does not password-encrypt exports. Local originals, recovery copies and detached photo files may remain to support recovery even after an item is changed. Removing the app can remove its local records. Apple device backup and transfer may include app data according to your system settings. Remove separately exported copies from their chosen destinations when no longer needed.

Purchases

Apple handles the paid app download under its terms. ThriftFlip 3 introduces no new in-app purchase or subscription and does not process card information. Apple manages App Store ownership, purchase records, refunds and account information separately.

Support and website visits

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond. Send a description first and avoid private records or photos unless an appropriate transfer has been agreed. The website hosting provider receives ordinary request metadata when you visit these help pages. Opening a support link is separate from local workspace storage.
