Circuit Breaker — Privacy

Version scope: This page covers the Android 2.0 update. Older releases keep their original feature set and may use an older local age choice. FAILSAFE and rewarded refills are available only where offered by the installed store version.

Who publishes the game

Circuit Breaker is published by NextEleven LLC. Contact nextelevenstudios@gmail.com for privacy or support questions.

Local progress

Campaign progress, scores, daily streaks and settings are stored on your device. We do not upload your puzzle moves to a game server. Existing local privacy restrictions remain respected. Device backups may include game data according to your Apple or Google settings. Reset progress clears game progress and its recovery snapshot; it does not remove a store purchase or third-party records. A complimentary access code is checked on-device; the app stores a grant marker rather than the code. This is separate from store receipts and game progress.

Advertising

The free mobile game can show occasional Google AdMob interstitial ads between successful completed runs. It requests non-personalized ads with teen age treatment and a general-audience content limit. Ad requests require confirmation of ad-supported purchase status and any required Google consent. On iOS, advertising also requires permission through Apple’s tracking prompt; declining it leaves the game playable with ads off. There are no ads during a live puzzle, on a failed run or in the opening five clears. Players may also choose a rewarded ad from a paused campaign to refill used starting tools once per attempt. Ad-free owners receive this refill without an ad. There is no automatic rewarded ad, and closing early does not grant the refill. A completed refill leaves play paused until Resume.

Advertising data

Google’s advertising service may process device and advertising identifiers where permitted, IP address and approximate location inferred from it, ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Ad consent is handled through Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can revisit Ad privacy choices in Settings and change Apple tracking permission or Google advertising settings on your device. No precise-location permission is requested.

Optional purchase

The optional one-time Remove Ads and FAILSAFE purchases are processed by Apple or Google Play and validated through RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier, transaction and entitlement information, and technical device/app information for purchase validation and service analytics. We do not create a game account or collect your payment card details. Your store account controls payment, purchase history and applicable refund requests. Restore purchases uses the original store account; there is no cross-store account linking.

Other device features

Audio plays only while the game is in use. Haptics are optional. The app does not request microphone, camera, contacts or precise-location access. Daily result sharing opens the system share sheet; you decide whether and where to send the text.

External links

Optional links to the DeadBolt website, GitHub and provider policies open in a browser. Those destinations and any share destination have their own privacy practices. The puzzle’s kill switch is fictional; the game does not operate the real DeadBolt tool or control other software.

Retention and requests

Local progress remains until reset, removal or applicable device-backup changes. Third-party transaction, advertising and consent records follow their providers’ retention obligations and privacy policies; uninstalling does not automatically erase those records. For assistance identifying relevant service-held data, email the app name and, if needed, a store order reference. Never send passwords, purchase tokens or private account documents.

Audience

Circuit Breaker is intended for players 16 and older. Advertising uses non-personalized requests, teen age treatment and a general-audience content limit. Required consent choices remain available. Previously recorded privacy restrictions remain respected.
