Four places to find your way

What happens on a difficult day?

Record the amount you did or use a minimum effort if one is set. Minimum effort stays distinct from completing the full goal. You can skip a day without fabricating a full check-in.

Why did my edited schedule not change today?

Routelle keeps historical goals intact. Weekly rule changes begin next Monday; other goal or schedule changes begin tomorrow. Review the effective date shown when you edit.

How do routines and timers work?

Add habits in your preferred order, then start the routine. Optional timers can be paused; your session is saved so you can return. Reaching zero never records a habit as completed automatically.

How can I fix missing reminders?

Allow notifications in your device settings, check the habit schedule and reminder time, and open Routelle after changing time zone or notification permissions. Focus modes, battery restrictions and operating-system limits can delay notifications. The app schedules a rolling window, refreshed when you use it. A notification can open the habit, snooze ten minutes or record the full goal.

How do I move or restore my notebook?

Export a full JSON backup from You before switching devices, reinstalling or restoring over a notebook. Keep the file in a private location: it is not password encrypted. The redesigned apps share the backup format, but purchases do not transfer between stores. A recovery copy is retained before a successful import. Stop and contact support if records will not open; removing the app can remove local records. There is no automatic cloud sync. Android automatic cloud/device-transfer backup is disabled for this app.

What happens to my existing Habits records?

The iOS update keeps the existing app identifier and original database. Supported records are imported into the new notebook, with legacy records retained in a portable archive. Keep a backup before major changes. Contact support before deleting the app if you cannot find an older record.

What is free and what needs Plus?

The free tier includes five active habits, one routine, check-ins and minimum efforts, optional obstacles, a journal, basic progress, full backups, a starter program and starter guides. Plus expands capacity and unlocks the full original library, personal experiments, advanced reviews and PDF/CSV reports. Existing records remain accessible after expiry; creating additional content may require Plus. Read the price and billing period on the purchase screen.

How do I restore or cancel a subscription?

Choose Restore purchases in the app with the same store account used to subscribe. Use Apple’s or Google Play’s subscription settings to cancel future renewal. Deleting Routelle does not cancel billing. Purchases are managed by the store and do not automatically transfer between Apple and Google. See subscription information.

Read-aloud is unavailable

Routelle uses device speech tools rather than recorded narration. On Android it requires an installed offline English voice; it does not download a voice for you. Voice availability varies by operating system. No microphone access is needed.
