A little space to begin.
Privacy policy
NextEleven LLC · Updated October 13, 2026
Steady is a small space to plan a next step, check in with yourself, and take a breath. This policy explains how information is handled in the Steady app for iOS, Android, and the browser.
Who is responsible
Steady is provided by NextEleven LLC. For privacy questions or requests, contact nextelevenstudios@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Steady saves the tasks and steps you enter, completion history, check-ins, and preferences in local app storage on your device, or local browser storage when you use the web version. This information can be sensitive. Steady does not automatically transmit it to NextEleven LLC or a server.
Steady has no user sign-in, advertising, cross-app tracking, or cloud sync for your entries. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, HealthKit, or Health Connect. Fonts and exercises are bundled with the app.
Subscriptions and purchase validation
On iOS and Android, Apple or Google processes subscription purchases and manages payment, renewal and cancellation. Steady uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and determine access to Steady Plus. The app sends store transaction or purchase-token information, an anonymous app-user identifier, and ordinary app, device, locale and network information needed for this service. RevenueCat also provides purchase-history and subscription reporting to NextEleven LLC.
Task names, steps, check-ins, completion history and backup contents are not sent to RevenueCat. Steady does not provide your name, email address, phone number or advertising identifier to RevenueCat, or use advertising integrations. Purchase services necessarily need a network connection; your local entries and free breathing and grounding exercises do not.
RevenueCat processes purchase information to operate and secure subscription services and retains records under its privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple and Google process store account and payment information under their own policies. Contact us for requests about subscription information we control. Applicable legal and transaction-retention duties may limit deletion.
Storage and device backups
Steady does not add its own encryption to locally stored data or exported backups. Your device and operating system may provide their own security. Keep your device protected, especially if it is shared.
Your operating system or device backup service may include Steady's app data in backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are handled by that service under its own privacy terms. Browser data can also be removed by your browser or device settings.
Backups you choose to share
Export my data creates a backup containing your tasks, check-ins, completion history, and preferences. On a phone, you choose where to share the backup text using the system share sheet. In a browser, you download a JSON file. The destination you choose may store or transmit that information under its own terms. NextEleven LLC does not receive a copy unless you send it to us.
Restore a backup reads the backup you paste into Steady and replaces local app data after you confirm. Keep your backup private; it can reveal personal information.
If you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, any attachments you choose to send, and ordinary email delivery information. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, and keep necessary support records. Our email provider processes those messages to deliver and store email. Please avoid sending sensitive task or check-in details unless they are needed to explain your issue.
We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve and document the request, meet legal obligations, or handle a dispute. You can ask us to delete support correspondence using the contact address above. Applicable legal obligations may require us to keep some records.
Web pages and external links
Opening a support or helpline link takes you to another service. Its privacy policy applies there. Loading the web version or our public policy pages also sends ordinary web request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the website hosting provider so it can serve and protect the website. This is separate from locally stored tasks and check-ins.
Sharing and tracking
We do not sell your personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across other apps and websites. We may disclose support correspondence if legally required or as necessary to protect rights and respond to abuse. App stores separately process downloads, account details, and information you share with them under their own policies.
Your choices and deletion
You can export your local data from Settings & support. Reset local data deletes the tasks, check-ins, completion history, and preferences stored by this installation after you confirm. It does not delete files you exported, copies sent to others, operating system backups, or emails you sent to support. Manage those copies with the destination or service concerned.
NextEleven LLC cannot retrieve or remotely delete your locally stored app data. For information you have sent us directly, you may request access, correction, or deletion at nextelevenstudios@gmail.com. Other privacy rights may apply depending on where you live, including the right to contact your local privacy regulator.
Children's information
Steady does not require a name, birth date, or account and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when Steady's data practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be explained in the app or with the relevant update before new data practices apply.
