Tattoo Artist Helper

Help for your studio workspace.

The redesigned workspace is available in iOS 2.0 and Android 1.0. Check your installed version before following these instructions; availability and download pricing vary by platform and region.

Contact NextEleven

Email nextelevenstudios@gmail.com with the app version, device model, operating system version, what you expected, and what happened. A redacted screenshot can help. Do not include client contact details, private tattoo/body photographs, passwords or card information.

Find your way around 2.0

Explore or remove the sample studio

Choose Explore sample studio during onboarding, on an empty Today screen, or near the top of Studio. Its records and images are fictional, and changes made there are temporary. Choose Remove sample (Leave sample at larger text sizes), then confirm the return to your own studio. Fully quitting and relaunching the app also returns you to your saved workspace. You can open a fresh sample again later.

Return to a piece and its recorded ink mix

Open the project from Today, the client, or Studio → Projects. The last sitting notebook keeps recorded work, the next step and copies of saved branded mixes. Open the reference board for imported references, sitting images and stencils. Recipe edits made later do not replace a mix already recorded with a sitting.

Record drops per cap and prepare a recipe PDF

In Studio → Ink recipes, enter the brands, colors and the measurements you actually use. Drops per cap are not converted to mL. Open the saved recipe and prepare its PDF before choosing a share destination.

Back up before moving devices or reinstalling

Use Studio → Backup & restore in your own workspace. Studio archives are intended for records with imported project images; JSON has a smaller image/file limit. Keep the exported file in a private location. Backups are not encrypted. Sample mode does not back up or replace your real studio.

If records will not open, stop before removing the app or restoring over data. Contact support and keep existing backups.

Studio Plus and earlier paid downloads

The app is free to download on Android, iPhone and iPad, with an optional one-time Studio Plus purchase for starting multi-session projects. Apple’s free download price was saved on October 19, 2026; if its listing still shows a download charge, wait until the free price appears before downloading. Earlier paid customers retain purchased access, and existing projects remain open and continuable. Use Restore purchases from your own workspace if access needs refreshing. Apple may request sign-in; enter credentials only in Apple's interface.

Apple handles App Store purchases and refund requests. On Android, Google Play handles purchases and refunds; use the same Google account for Restore. Studio Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Purchases do not transfer between Apple and Google. Keep purchase/account information out of email screenshots. If access is still incorrect, send your app version and the visible error without private account credentials.

Android access and backups

Everyday tools are free. Starting new multi-session projects needs optional Studio Plus. Existing project records remain readable and continuable. An access code, if provided to you, can be entered under Studio → About Studio Plus → Use an access code. Remove complimentary access from the same screen; it is separate from purchased access. Android cloud/device-transfer backup does not include this app, so export a studio archive before changing devices. Import requires an empty real studio and a checked preview; export the current studio first. Sample edits are temporary.

Quotes, payments and inventory

The app calculates and records amounts; it does not charge clients or move money. Check your entries against your own records. Stock levels use the movements you record, and ink recipes describe your own process rather than certifying pigment compatibility.
