ANDROID PRIVACY POLICY

ThriftFlip

Android 1.0 · Updated October 20, 2026. This policy covers the Android reseller ledger, including optional ThriftFlip Plus. Apple version 3 policy.

Your reseller records

Inventory, costs, dates, storage locations, notes, selected item photos, sales, refunds, corrections and calculations stay in the app’s private on-device workspace. ThriftFlip does not send those records to NextEleven, Google Billing or an AI provider. There is no app account, advertising service or marketplace connection.

Selected photos

Android’s system picker supplies only the images you choose. ThriftFlip creates a bounded, resized JPEG copy, corrects supported orientation metadata and omits the source image’s EXIF metadata, including GPS tags. The original library image is not edited. No GPS, camera or broad photo-library permission is requested. Copies and detached photo blobs can remain locally for recovery.

Optional Google Play purchase

The app is free to download, with a starter allowance of 20 active items and an optional one-time Plus purchase. Google Play handles payment, account, refund and purchase processing under Google’s policies. ThriftFlip reads Google’s purchase status, product identifier, signed receipt and purchase token to verify, acknowledge and restore access. A protected receipt copy can support offline access on this installation. ThriftFlip does not receive your card details, and NextEleven operates no purchase-validation server.

Google Billing technical information

The Android release includes Google Play Billing 9.1 and its technical transport components. These can collect and send billing-operation interactions and results, diagnostics, session or other identifiers, app/library versions, device model and hardware/build information, OS version, locale/country, time zone and network or mobile-operator metadata to Google. Network and country information can indicate an approximate region; the app does not read GPS coordinates. This technical processing supports billing functionality, reliability, measurement and security. It can occur when billing initializes or checks access even if you do not buy Plus.

These technical flows are separate from your inventory and photos. They use encrypted network transport. Google determines its own processing and retention practices; NextEleven cannot promise that Google’s copies are ephemeral, immediately deleted or remotely erasable through this app. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Play’s purchase controls for your Google account.

Complimentary access

If NextEleven supplies a complimentary code, the app checks it locally and saves an installation-bound grant outside inventory exports and automatic backups. It does not register a Google purchase or create a subscription. Remove it in Settings without removing inventory or a genuine Google purchase. Codes may be reusable; an offline grant cannot be remotely revoked.

Exports, backups and deletion

You choose export destinations through Android’s sharing or document controls. A selected cloud app or recipient receives the file under its own practices. ThriftFlip does not password-encrypt export files. Full checked backups contain workspace records and attached photos; restoring first saves a recovery copy of the previous workspace. Local recovery files and detached photos can remain after edits. Keep exports outside the app before uninstalling or changing devices. Automatic app-data backup/transfer is disabled; use the app’s manual backup controls.

Android’s Clear storage or uninstall controls can remove local app data. Remove separately exported copies from their destinations yourself. NextEleven has no online inventory account to delete. For Google payment records, use Google’s account, privacy and refund processes; deleting ThriftFlip does not delete Google’s records or reverse a purchase.

Support and website visits

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer the request. Start with a description and redact private records or photos. The website hosting provider receives ordinary web-request metadata when you open these help pages; this is separate from the local workspace.
