Add an item, its purchase cost and storage location. Mark it listed when ready, then record the actual sale and expenses. Starter allows 20 active items. Selling frees an active slot. Existing records remain readable, editable, sellable, returnable and available to full backups if you exceed the starter limit or lose Plus access.

ThriftFlip Plus

Plus is an optional one-time Google Play upgrade for greater inventory capacity within safety limits, haul allocation, item photos and PDF/CSV reports. The app shows the current localized Google price before checkout. There is no subscription or artificial trial timer. Android and Apple purchases are separate.

In Settings choose Restore / check Google Play purchase while connected and using the purchasing Google account. Pending payment does not unlock Plus; wait for Google to complete it instead of buying again. A verified cached purchase can remain available offline. This app has no server-side purchase ledger and cannot promise immediate refund/revocation changes while offline. Google handles payment and refund requests.

Samples, backups and changing phones

The fictional sample stays separate from saved inventory. Leave it to work with your own records. In Settings use Export full backup and choose a private destination outside the app before clearing storage, uninstalling or changing phones. Backups are not password-encrypted by ThriftFlip. Inspect & restore backup verifies a supported file and asks before replacing your workspace; a recovery copy is saved first. Keep exported copies secure.

Supported portable workspaces can be checked across platforms. Apple original-library migration receipts and correction journals are not supported by Android 1.0 and are refused rather than silently discarded. The older Apple SwiftData database is not an Android database. Preserve original files and ask support before attempting a migration.

Photos and reports

Choose an item image through Android’s system picker. The app makes a resized, orientation-corrected JPEG copy without source EXIF metadata; it leaves the original untouched. Removing an attachment can retain its private blob for recovery. CSV files contain detailed entered records; the PDF is an operational summary. Full backups, rather than reports, are the recovery format.

Money and calculations

Choose USD, CAD, GBP, EUR or AUD before adding records. One workspace uses one currency; amounts are not converted. Enter actual fees, shipping, supplies, other costs and refunds. Buying-tool results depend on your assumptions, not live market prices or guaranteed returns. ThriftFlip does not process customer payments and is not a tax return or professional accounting service.
