IPHONE & IPAD / VERSION 3.0
A little help with your next step.
Avenrest is the redesigned iPhone and iPad update to If Then Reset. This guide covers version 3.0. It does not describe every feature in the older If Then Reset 2.3 iOS or 1.2 Mac app. Check your installed version before following a guide. Store availability depends on Apple and your region.
Avenrest keeps everyday reset tools, personal plans and optional reflections close at hand. You do not need an app account, an AI service or a subscription to take a moment.
Email hello@nexteleven.devStart with a manageable action
- Open Now → Take a moment. Choose a comfortable approach and tap Begin.
- Move at your pace. Skip a step, choose Finish here or close the exercise whenever you want.
- A reflection is optional. Nothing is added to What helped unless you choose Save.
Stop an exercise that feels uncomfortable. Use these tools only when it is safe to pause. Avenrest provides general wellbeing self-help; it does not diagnose, treat, monitor your safety or replace professional care.
Make a plan in your own words
In My plans, choose Make a personal plan or adapt a starting point. Give the situation a name and add one to eight short steps. A next action and an alternative can be enough. Free includes three personal plans and all eight starting points.
Plus adds more personal plans, up to three optional daily check-ins, personal usage summaries and the retained ambient soundscape library. It is optional: immediate resets, starting points, support resources, saved reflections and backup access remain available without it.
Common questions
Where are my earlier If Then Reset records?
Open You → Earlier app records or Journal & earlier entries. This update preserves earlier local records and older voice transcripts rather than sending them to an AI service. Earlier records keep their original formats; they do not all become new Avenrest reflections. You → Earlier data: preservation & export provides a separate recovery export. If a legacy file cannot be read, keep the original file and contact support before reinstalling.
How do I back up plans and reflections?
Open You → Export plans & reflections backup and choose a private destination. Avenrest does not password-protect that file, and it may contain personal notes. Its corresponding import previews records before adding them; existing record identifiers are preserved rather than overwritten. This backup is separate from earlier-data exports and Apple purchase restoration. Keep a backup before changing devices or removing the app.
What if the app reports a file or storage problem?
Do not delete the app or replace the original file to clear the message. Avenrest leaves unreadable or changed collections untouched and reports the problem. Make sure the device has storage available and contact support with the exact message and installed version. Send a redacted screenshot first, rather than a full private backup.
Do I need to subscribe again after updating?
No. An active, verified If Then Reset monthly or yearly subscription unlocks Avenrest Plus under the same app. Use You → Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Avenrest does not need your Apple password or payment details. Restore brings back eligible paid access; it does not recover a journal or backup from a missing device.
What happens when Plus ends?
Your existing plans stay readable, usable and editable, including plans above the free creation limit. Your notes, reflections, free reset tools and export/import remain available. Creating an additional plan can require Plus once you have three personal plans. Subscription restoration or cancellation never deletes your personal records.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage renewal through Apple subscription settings. Deleting Avenrest does not cancel billing. For a refund request, use Apple’s Report a Problem service; Apple determines eligibility. See subscription information for renewal details.
Can I use the app offline?
Local reset tools and saved records do not need an AI or account connection. Store products, purchases and Restore need Apple services; external support links need the destination service. Verified subscription access depends on its current state and Apple’s available transaction information. The app does not offer a NextEleven cloud-sync service.
Why is a reminder not appearing?
Check You → Optional check-in reminders, then your device’s notification and Focus settings. No new reminder is enabled simply by opening its settings. Reminder wording is generic; the app does not put your private plan or journal into a check-in notification. Earlier saved reminders and system delivery settings are separate.
Support during a difficult moment
Your own safety plan and region-labelled support resources stay accessible without Plus. Avenrest cannot monitor a crisis, contact someone on your behalf or provide emergency response. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
- United States: 988 Lifeline information.
- Canada: 9-8-8 information.
- UK and Ireland: Samaritans phone support.

Earlier versions are different
These pages apply to the redesigned Avenrest iOS 3.0 update. The separate If Then Reset 1.2 Mac app and earlier iOS 2.3 release are not silently replaced by this guide. Earlier releases included optional AI/provider configuration, voice or Apple Health features. The new app’s no-AI description is not a statement that those older versions never processed data.
For help identifying the privacy information or recovery options relevant to an older installation, email us with the app name, platform and version. Do not send an API key, Apple password, private purchase token or complete journal.
Useful details for a support request
Tell us the app version shown in You, your iOS/iPadOS version, what you expected, what happened and the exact error. A redacted screenshot can help. Support email is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency service. Read the version-specific privacy policy.
